The customer needed a functional central portal that would incorporate usable but powerful search features. |
| Software |
Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 with Search |
| Description |
This project was a fast paced analysis, installation, customization, and deployment for the customer's main web portal. The project took advantage of the branding capabilities that are new to MOSS 2007, with the result being a very slick web application that looked nothing like a traditional Sharepoint portal. |

Uncontrolled growth of a network 'share' drive was causing major challenges for IT and business users. |
| Software |
Microsoft Sharepoint Server 2003 |
| Description |
Eastridge engaged with the customer and approached the problem in 2 steps:
1. Conduct and Enterprise Planning session so that requirements from four different departments could be combined into an attainable requirements document and architecture plan that was satisfactory for the IT department.
2. Build the portal solution and move relevant data from the 'share' drive, while allowing Sharepoint to index old data that would remain on the network drives. This allowed the IT department to freeze the share drive for read-only access while the business users were transitioning to the new Portal. |

Build and Manage a content management system for internal staff and extranet users. |
| Software |
Sharepoint 2003 and Microsoft Content Manager 2002 |
| Description |
The new system allows easy content changes by medical staff but, at the same time, creative control by the marketing and public relations department to ensure that the Web sites’ information and graphic content are uniform across the Medical Center. The conversion also allows users to navigate anywhere in the system with only a few clicks.
“Before the conversion, many of the departments and divisions had their own Web sites that were done with a lot of variations in graphics and various kinds of software,” said Travis Hargett, Eastridge’s President. “We were delighted to help the information technology, public relations and marketing staffs with establishing a universal system in which departments can easily add or delete text, but the overall look and feel of each site remains the same.” |
