Eastridge Technology and
Simple Network Solutions Merge to Build Cloud Services Practice
Winston-Salem, N.C. – Two of the
Piedmont Triad’s top information technology companies are merging to build a
cloud services practice.
Eastridge Technology, Inc., a
software services company based in Winston-Salem, N.C., has merged with Simple
Network Solutions (SNS), a computer infrastructure services company based in
Kernersville, N.C. The merged company
will be named Eastridge Technology, with a division named Simple Network
Solutions.
Cloud computing is the delivery of
computing as a service rather than a product, whereby shared resources,
software, and information are provided to computers and other devices as a
utility (like the electricity grid) over a network (typically the Internet).
“We have been working with SNS over
the past 13 years, but recently we have teamed up on an increasing volume of
cloud services engagements related to Microsoft Office 365,” says Travis
Hargett, president of Eastridge Technology Inc. “This merger strengthens our
ability to support companies that want to take advantage of Microsoft cloud
based services for email, websites, online meetings, and file sharing.”
Eastridge and SNS will combine
their offices together in an expanded office space in Liberty Plaza in downtown
Winston-Salem. The combined company will have 17 full-time employees in North
Carolina, with an additional offshore team in Pune, India. Eastridge Technology
now has clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic, with a high concentration in the
Carolinas.

Microsoft allow us to offer large company IT services to small businesses for
less than the cost of a Netflix subscription,” says Chris Oakman, President of
SNS, Inc. “Now that we are merged, we can offer powerful end to end solutions
to small business and non-profits that save money.”
