 Business Need

KDH was growing rapidly and experiencing challenges with an aging in-house email server and a proliferation of computers and mobile devices.  When KDH wanted to rapidly expand their national sales team, they reached out to the SNS division of Eastridge for a better solution.

 Solution

The SNS division of Eastridge proposed leveraging Microsoft Office 365 for email & instant messaging, and Windows Intune for desktop management.  For these mission critical applications the approach was to start with a small mobile group of users that were geographically dispersed.  In order to run some users in Office 365 with the remaining users on-premise, SNS setup a "Rich Coexistence" mode.

 Benefits

KDH was able to rapidly rollout a national sales team with state of the art collaboration tools and cloud based desktop management on Windows 7.  The "Rich Coexistence" mode with Office 365 allows KDH to incrementally move users to the cloud while still managing users profiles within their on-premise Active Directory.
