In the early days workflow automation solutions tended to be very expensive related to software cost, development time, and support. The introduction of Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF) in SharePoint 2007 opened the doors for customers to build simple automation applications based on document or list actions. For customers that require workflow automation and control over and above the native workflow capabilities found in SharePoint and SharePoint Designer, Eastridge approaches such projects with Nintex Workflow 2007/2010 depending on the customers portal version.
